Scarce Time Overcurrent Relay Antique Steampunk Electrical Apparatus Patent 1925

Buy with confidence. I haven't listed on ebay in several years but have been selling here since 1998 with this and other shop names.
Antique General Electric Time Over-Current Relay Type 1A-201 Amperes 5 Cycles 60 Target Amperes 02 Resis. 20 Ohms Pat'd July 25 '16 May 26 '25. CAT. 3120012G7. Clean copper plate inside has the Time In Seconds To Trip chart.
About 5 1/4'' across the glass face. Cast iron back is 6 3/4'' tall x 5 3/4'' across. About 5 1/2'' deep including the front exterior parts. The back copper bolts add 3 1/4'' to depth.
Iron case has some of the original black paint but is mostly obscured by thin surface rust. A de-rusting (oxalic acid?) may expose more of the black paint. Glass is fairly clean, I gave it a wipe inside and out, the face just lifts off when the thumb screws are removed. The seal/gasket is present as are the pads for the screws. Glass has minor scuffs on the underside of the fore edge. Some light dust inside but generally a very clean appearance. There are some old cloth tape patches on the outside of the glass on one side. Untested and sold as is.
Rare item for the advanced steampunk electrical collector / builder. Not your typical electric meter.
