NEW Discontinued Lionel Polar Express Little Lines Remote Control Battery Operated Holiday Train Set (no deer) with Lots of Plastic Track! RARE FIND!- please READ details below:
This awesome battery operated & IR/ remote controlled Polar Express little lines set from Lionel has been discontinued for several years now, so has become a very sought after & hard to find set- even more difficult to find one with most of the pieces present or better yet, one with the entire train & track setup that is still brand new in the original box! This particular set is still new in the original box & packaging with the exception of one small little baggy of few plastic deer figures that are missing (that little bag was removed from the box at the train store where I purchased the set years ago, but as it was a very small bag that happened to be the top item inside the box, everything else in box was left intact & untouched & the box was immediately resealed so everything else remains brand new in the original box as it came packaged from Lionel). Interestingly, the small deer are not even pictured in the various scenes depicted on different parts of the box showing the assembled set from different angles anyway, so while you could easily replace them with any small toy animals if you wanted, they are unlikely to even be missed anyway. All of the other parts (listed & shown in pictures & descriptions on the box (see my detailed pics) showing the various example setup scenes & detailed item list, remain brand new in the original packaging inside the box as packaged by Lionel.

This is an excellent starter holiday train set /Polar Express set for the youngest train enthusiast in your house (and if you have a more detailed model train set that is not made for little hands, this is also a great way to protect your set until he or she is old enough $ give him a great holiday train set he can drive on his own! While this is listed for ages 2.5 & older, please note that a young child will require adult assistance for the initial track setup to properly snap pieces together & set up the the track properly prior to play! I gave a couple of these as gifts years ago & they were a huge hit with a range of ages of little kids who loved the Battery Operated IR remote driving feature and all of the great Polar Express details! In fact, they were such a hit with the kids I gave them to, I had scrambled to find a few more of these sets at that time before they were completely sold out! I had looked for one to give as a gift a couple of years ago, but despite searching through my gift closet & my holiday boxes at storage, I couldn’t find it, so started thinking I must be mistaken about having any left.... until recently when i was going through some inventory at storage & discovered a couple of mislabeled boxes that contained some of my missing holiday items- and lucked into finding this great set!
