Description
Olympus D791 Transducer Ultrasonic Separate CombinedD791 Converter Features:
Frequency 5.0 MHz;
Cable connection detachable;
The location of the connector is lateral;
Steel measuring range from 1.00 to 508.00 mm;
Temperature range from - 20 ° С to 500 ° С;
The diameter of the transducer is 11.00 mm.
Compatible with ultrasonic thickness gauges: 27MG, 45MG, 38DLPlus, MG2.
Separately combined transducer D791 is equipped with two piezoelectric elements, which are placed in one housing and separated by an acoustic screen. One piezoelectric element is a generator of longitudinal ultrasonic waves, and the other piezoelectric element acts as a receiver of reflected signals.
Benefits:
Improves near surface resolution
Eliminates numerous delay line echoes when monitoring objects with high temperature
Provides reliable contact with rough and curved surfaces.
Reduces noise when monitoring coarse materials or materials with a high degree of dispersion of ultrasound
Ideal for monitoring low temperature objects
It combines the penetration of ultrasound into materials possessed by low-frequency combined transducers, with good near-surface resolution, which provides high-frequency combined transducers
It can be profiled for use on objects with a curved surface
Application:
Residual wall thickness measurements
Corrosion / Erosion Control
Control of lap welding and cladding integrity
Detection of porosity, inclusions, cracks and delaminations in castings and forgings
Crack detection in bolts and other cylindrical products
