This is a brand new, never used, GRID Data Scan diagnostic peripheral cable and software for late 90s to mid-2000's JDM Toyotas. This software DOES NOT use the OBD 2 data stream, but it uses the proprietary Japanese Toyota stream instead.  It will produce the DTC codes found in the Japanese service manuals. The factory DTC codes provide a mechanic with far more detailed, car specific information than an OBD2 DTC code would.
While it may work with some US Toyotas, that is not what this software was designed for. It was designed for use with JDM market Toyotas like the Aristo, Chaser, Celsior, Supra (JDM only), MR-2 (JDM only), etc.
This software is 100% in Japanese. Please consider this before purchasing. I cannot offer any support and will not accept returns on this item, but if you know what you're doing this software is super powerful.
Originally over 55,000 yen (US0), this is a steal if it's what you need. I imagine it would come in handy for shops that do or service a lot of JDM 2JZGTE or 3SGT engine swaps.
