    I've only owned this two months and I used it three times.   All I had to do when I got it was change the batteries.  This kit also comes with an additional transmitter for testing vessels.
    In two images you can see the gauge reading is not on 0 on the tester and both lights on the transmitter and tester are on, everything functions as should.  I used it to find a couple A/C leaks.
    I have no instruction manual or discs, but the manuals can be found on the manufacturers website.
