Automation Industries, Inc. - Replaceable Rubber Disk Transducer Fixture.
This Unique Fixture is made to hold standard contact Transducers of the 1" diameter
variety
. It features a replaceable rubber
membrane
that acts as the wear surface between the Transducer and Test Piece. You add couplant between the Transducer and the rubber membrane. It also facilitates more even coupling between the Transducer and Test Piece when scanning. When the membrane wears out, simply replace it with modern day latex type of material. There are no extras included with this sale.
This fixture is in
"Like New"
condition. This was part of our Salesman's Demonstration Equipment Inventory. We are no longer in business and now selling off this type on Inventory. We once operated under the name of Pennsylvania Instrument Corporation for 40 years.
